NCAA College Hockey….

UMI started working at the St. Pete Times Forum / Ice Palace in 1997. Back then it was just concerts and the Tampa Bay Lightning. Now a days it’s more and more. NCAA Women’s Final Four in 2008, the first and second round of the NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship in 2008, the Southeastern Conference Men’s Basketball Championship in 2009, the NCAA Women’s Volleyball Championship in 2009 and the NCAA Frozen Four in 2012. In a warm up for the 2012 NCCA Hockey Frozen 4 we hosted the Lightning Hockey Classic, University of Massachusetts vs Notre Dame.

How fragile the world is….

While we were in Kenya they were having their first Presidential elections. Today the results came in and there are now Riots throughout the country. Police in Kenya have confirmed hundreds of people have die in the conflicts. Tonight’s news told a story of people being chased into a church in which the doors were chained shut and then set on fire. There are now dead bodies lying in the streets of the city I was just in weeks ago…..
